Winged Dragon Coiled Flask Sculpture

A bat-winged dragon coils around a flask like it's guarding treasure. This sculpture pairs a conical, Erlenmeyer-style vessel — a narrow tube neck rising from a wide flared base — with a slender wyvern clinging to the back: long neck craning up over the rim, jaws parted, and two enormous membranous wings thrown wide on either side, their leathery vanes clearly ribbed. A teardrop-shaped cartouche on the front of the base carries a raised monogram. The contrast between the smooth vessel and the sinewy, organic dragon makes this a real statement centrepiece. It suits fantasy and dragon collectors as a striking display figurine, a quirky desk vessel, or a themed vase / pen-and-brush holder if the tube is left open. Print notes • Resin gives the crispest wing membranes and facial detail, but it prints in FDM too if you're happy to tidy the thin wing edges. • Those wide wings are the challenge: keep the vessel upright and add sturdy tree/branch supports under the wing undersides and the outstretched head. • Print hollow with drain holes to save resin on the large solid base. • For display, a slate-grey or metallic drybrush over the dragon against a glossier glazed finish on the flask really sells the piece. Scale up for a bold shelf centrepiece, or down for a smaller ornament.
