Description

A long-necked dragon rears up on a cracked stone pillar, jaws parted mid-roar. Never mind the code — this is a fully sculpted western dragon. A slender, wyvern-tall body stands foursquare on a round, masonry-textured plinth, the ridged neck arcing high so the horned, open-mouthed head looks out over everything. Membraned wings sweep back and down, one side trailing a long whip of tail, and each clawed foot grips the stone. The detailing runs the length of the model, from the pebbled belly folds to the spined ridge of the spine and the individual teeth. It works as both a display statue and a gaming centrepiece: a shelf sculpture, a tabletop boss monster for D&D or fantasy skirmish games, or a satisfying paint project. The integrated base means it stands securely straight off the printer. Print notes • Resin gives the crispest teeth, claws and thin wing membranes; FDM holds up well at a larger scale. • Add supports under the jaw, along the wing edges and beneath the tail overhang — the plinth itself sits flat and support-free. • Print around 32mm for tabletop use, or scale to 150mm and up for a shelf statue. • Orient the wings close to vertical to keep the membranes thin and clean.
