Horned Dragon Head Bust

A snarling horned dragon, sculpted in the round and mounted like a trophy. This is a full three-dimensional bust rather than a flat carving: a heavy reptilian head with a knobbled brow crest, two long swept-back horns, deep-set eyes and a jaw bristling with fangs and two curved lower tusks. Layered scales and folded flesh give the face a weathered, ancient look, and it sits on a short columnar neck rising from a rounded display base. This is a display and collector piece, ideal for a fantasy shelf, a desk, a game-master's table, or a painted centrepiece for a dragon-themed room. Tabletop hobbyists will treat it as a bust to brush-paint and vignette. The detail is dense around the muzzle and horn roots, so print method and orientation matter more here than raw size. Print notes: • Resin (SLA/MSLA) captures the scale and fang detail far better than FDM; scale to roughly 60–90mm tall for a bust. • Orient tilted back so the face self-supports, adding light supports under the horn tips, chin tusks and jaw. • If cutting on a router, this needs a 4th-axis rotary or a two-sided flip setup rather than a single flat pass. • Wash and UV-cure fully, then prime grey before painting to reveal the surface texture.
