Description

A snarling dragon bursts straight out of the wall, jaws parted mid-roar. This piece pairs a fully sculpted dragon head with a pointed heraldic shield backing, so the beast reads like a fantasy hunting trophy rather than a flat carving. The head is thick with character: a pair of long swept-back horns, a crown of smaller spikes over the brow, ridged scaly cheeks, jutting tusks along the jawline and an open mouth packed with rows of pointed teeth. The neck dissolves into overlapping scales where it meets the shield, and the shield itself carries a clean raised border that frames the whole thing. It is built for anyone who wants a statement wall piece — a games room, a D&D or tabletop corner, a fantasy-themed bedroom, or a shop display. Hung at eye level it genuinely looks like a mounted specimen. Print notes: • Resin will pull out every scale and tooth; FDM works too at 0.12mm layers with a fine nozzle. • Print the head angled face-up and add supports under the lower jaw, horns and tusks — those are the main overhangs. • Hollow the head and add drain holes to save resin and cut the weight for wall hanging. • Model or cut a keyhole slot behind the shield so it sits flush against the wall. Finish with a stone, bronze or aged-iron paint scheme to sell the trophy look, or leave it raw grey for a modern sculptural feel.
