Description

A regal antlered dragon, chest puffed and jaws cracked open in a roar. A characterful western dragon sculpted as a standing quadruped. Its head is crowned with a spread of branching, antler-like horns that fork out like coral or a stag's rack, and its open maw shows rows of pointed fangs. The neck and chest are deeply ribbed and muscular, the hide textured with rows of bony studs, and a dramatic fan of feather-or-flame-like plumes rises from the tail and back. Four sturdy legs end in splayed, sharply clawed feet, and the whole pose is alert and proud rather than aggressive — a creature holding court. It's built for the display shelf and the tabletop alike: a centrepiece monster for D&D and fantasy RPGs, a boss miniature, or a standalone statue for a dragon lover. Print notes: • Resin is strongly recommended to hold the antler tines, individual claws, teeth and the fine plume texture; FDM only really works at larger display scale. • Expect supports on the antlers, under the jaw and belly, and along the underside of the raised tail; orient to keep the face support-free if you can. • On big prints, hollow the body and add drain holes, and consider printing the antlers and tail plume separately to avoid fragile spans. • Prime, then drybrush the scales and studs over a dark wash to bring out the sculpted texture. Scale it anywhere from a 32mm gaming mini up to a full display statue.
