Winged Wyvern Standing Figurine

A graceful little dragon that looks ready to take off. Forget the tags — this is not a panel or a tray, it is a standing dragon figurine. The model shows a slender, smooth-skinned wyvern posed on all fours with its long neck curved up and its head tilted skyward, mouth slightly open. Two thin swept-back horns trail off the skull, and the real drama is the wing: one broad membrane wing is spread wide and high, the fan of it stretched between fine finger-bones with a scalloped, torn trailing edge. A long tapering tail sweeps out behind for balance. The surface is clean and stylised rather than heavily scaled, which gives it an elegant, almost art-nouveau line. It makes a lovely shelf or desk piece, a centrepiece for a fantasy display, or a paintable blank for a tabletop collection. The simple smooth forms also make it forgiving to finish. Print notes • The outstretched wing is the challenge: print with the wing angled up and supported underneath, or split it at the shoulder and glue after. • Resin gives the crispest wing edge; FDM works fine at 0.12mm if you accept a little layering on the membrane. • The tail and raised head need light supports — check overhangs before slicing. • Give it a base or a small pin under a foot for a stable stance on a shelf.
