Winged Rearing Dragon Statue

Wings flung wide, a squat little dragon rears up to meet you. Ignore the code — this is a dragon, caught head-on with both membranous wings thrown fully open in a threat display. It's a stocky, potbellied beast: a broad barrel chest, short clawed legs planted wide, and a blunt horned head crowned with a fan of spikes sweeping back from the brow and jaw. The mouth hangs open mid-roar over a row of small fangs. The wings steal the show — huge, bat-like sails, ribbed by long fingers that taper into hooked talons along the top edge, spanning far wider than the body stands tall. The pose is symmetrical and front-facing, which makes it a natural centrepiece: a tabletop guardian, a shelf statue, a boss monster for a fantasy skirmish or a D&D encounter, or a fresh canvas for miniature painters. Scaled down it's a chunky desk ornament; scaled up, a proper display piece. Print notes • Those outstretched wings and the open jaw will need supports; a resin printer will pull the finest detail from the horns, teeth and wing membranes. • On FDM, consider printing the wings flat or separately and joining them, or tilting the whole model to keep support scars off the membranes. • Hollow larger prints and add a base for stability — the wide wingspan sits on small feet. • Prime and paint to bring out the leathery wings against the scaled, muscular hide.
