Description

A guardian dragon standing watch over a blank heraldic shield. This is a full sculpted figurine — not a routed panel, whatever the filename suggests. A crouching dragon rears up on a square stepped plinth, one great membranous bat wing flared open behind it in a fan of ribbed skin while the other folds down along its body. Curved horns sweep back from a long reptilian head, and the beast lowers its snout protectively toward a large kite-style shield it clasps upright in front of its chest. The shield face is left deliberately blank — a perfect canvas for a crest, monogram, house sigil or family arms. Clawed feet and a coiling tail anchor it firmly to the base. It makes a striking desk or shelf sentinel, a personalised gift when the shield is engraved, a bookend, or a centrepiece for tabletop fantasy collections. Print notes • Print resin at 0.03–0.05mm for the scaled hide, wing membrane and horn detail; FDM at 0.12mm suits a larger statement piece. • Supports are needed under the outstretched wing, the jaw and the shield's overhang — orient with the base flat and the open wing angled upward to minimise contact scars. • The flat shield is ideal for adding your own emblem: emboss a crest in your slicer, or leave it plain to paint or vinyl-decal later. • Drybrushing over a dark base coat makes the wing ribs and scales pop.
