Description

Wings flung wide, jaws open, a young dragon roaring its first challenge. Forget the CNC tag: this is a tabletop creature miniature. A juvenile dragon (or wyvern) rears up on its hind legs, membranous bat-wings thrown back and spread, long neck arched and mouth gaping in a roar that shows rows of teeth. The sculpt carries lovely texture, with pebbled hide across the belly and limbs, ribbed wing membranes, clawed feet gripping a simple round display base, and a whip-thin tail curling out behind for balance. It is built for fantasy roleplay and wargaming: a nasty encounter for a low-level party, a wizard's familiar, or a shelf centrepiece for painters who like a dramatic pose. Print notes: • Resin printing captures the scale texture and wing veining best; 0.03-0.05mm layers reward the detail. • Support the wings, jaw and outstretched limbs carefully, as those thin membranes want plenty of light supports underneath. • Print at 32mm heroic scale for the tabletop, or enlarge it for a display bust. • Orient it tilted slightly back so supports land on the wing undersides and rear, keeping the face and chest clean. • Prime, then glaze greens or reds over a zenithal base coat to make the scales pop.
