Description

Half beast, half brawler — a dragon built like it wrestles for a living. This sculpt trades the usual serpentine hoard-guardian for a hulking, upright drake: a heavily muscled humanoid torso with defined pecs and a stacked abdomen, set on thick reptilian legs that end in splayed, clawed feet. The head is pure lizard — a long snout crammed with teeth, swept-back horns, and a low, predatory stare. The wings steal the scene. They spread wide and taut, each membrane stretched between clawed fingers with a rippled, leathery texture running through it. A long tapering tail curls out behind and loops at the tip, balancing the whole pose. It's a menacing centrepiece for a fantasy shelf, a boss monster for the tabletop, or a painting project with plenty of surface to work. Print notes: • Resin captures the ab definition and wing veining best; on FDM, drop to a 0.12mm layer and expect to sand the smooth chest. • Those outstretched wings are the challenge — orient the model with wings angled upward and use a dense support raft under each membrane and along the leading edge. • Print the tail supported from below along its length so the curled tip doesn't sag. • Consider splitting wings from body at the shoulder for a cleaner print and a stronger glued seam. • Prime dark, dry-brush the muscle highlights, and glaze the wing membranes translucent for a backlit look.
