Description

A wiry dragon slinking forward, wings flared and ready. This is a full four-legged dragon caught low to the ground in a prowling, hunting stance: a long serpentine neck stretched out with a narrow horned head and open jaws, membraned bat wings raised high off the shoulders, a saw-toothed ridge of spikes running from skull to tail-tip, and a long tail curling round behind. The clawed feet splay wide for grip. The surface is a touch faceted and old-school in places, giving it a rugged, carved-relic character rather than glossy realism. It makes a striking shelf or desk centrepiece and doubles as a monster or mount for tabletop fantasy games. Print notes • Expect to support the raised wings, the outstretched neck and the lifted tail; a tilted orientation shortens the supported spans. • Check the wing membranes before slicing and thicken them slightly if your printer struggles with thin, near-vertical webs. • Resin gives the sharpest spines and claws; FDM works for a larger display size at fine layer heights. • Scale down onto a 40–60 mm gaming base, or blow it up as a mantelpiece dragon; glue and pin the tail if you split it to fit the plate. Prime and drybrush to make the scaled ridges and spines pop.
