Horned Dragon Head Wall Hook

A snarling horned dragon stands guard over your hallway. This wall hook is built around a fierce dragon head — a heavily scaled brow, deep-set eyes and two long horns swept back over a spiny, frilled crown, with the jaws parting just enough to show teeth. The head is mounted on a Gothic shield-shaped backplate edged with a fine engraved vine border, and a strong curved hook sweeps down from beneath the chin. A countersunk screw hole sits in the centre of the plate for a firm fixing. It is a genuinely useful piece: hang coats, keys, dog leads, hats or headphones from the hook while the dragon does the showing off. Ideal for a hallway, a games room, a teenager's bedroom or anywhere a bit of fantasy attitude is welcome. Print notes • Print the backplate flat to the bed so the mounting face is clean and true. • Resin (SLA) captures the individual scales beautifully; FDM works well if you scale up a touch. • Orient the hook so the layer lines run across its curve, and use high infill or solid walls — it has to carry weight. • Prime dark, then drybrush a metallic or bone tone to make the scales pop; pre-drill or countersink the mount hole to suit your fixings.
