Description

Wings flared and jaws wide — a young dragon frozen mid-roar. The tags call this a routing tray, but the image tells the truth: it's a winged dragon miniature. The beast stands foursquare on an oval base, rearing its horned, crested head to bellow through a fanged, open maw. Two great bat-like wings sweep out and up, their finger-struts and thin membranes clearly defined, while a ridged, plated throat runs down to a barrel chest. Four clawed legs grip the ground and a long tail whips out behind, crowned along its length with a row of jagged spines. It's a natural centrepiece for a tabletop encounter — a dragon boss for D&D or Pathfinder, a monster for a wargame, or simply a satisfying creature to paint. Size it to whatever your rules call 'Large' or 'Huge', or scale down for a display shelf. Print notes: • Resin printing gives the cleanest scales, teeth and wing membranes; FDM works if you print the wings flat and separately, then glue. • Support the underside of both wings and the outstretched tail; the wing tips and head horns are the fragile points. • Slice the spinal spikes with care so they don't get pruned as islands. • Keep the oval base solid for stability, and consider magnetising if you want to swap bases between game systems.
