Chubby Dragon Hugging An Ice-Cream Cone

A round little dragon that has claimed an ice-cream far too big for it. Forget flat panels — this is a fully sculpted, wonderfully chubby baby dragon miniature. It sits low on a round display base, pot-bellied and stubby-limbed, with a single swept-back horn, a crest of small spikes and a spiny tail curling round the side. Both clawed arms wrap possessively around an oversized waffle cone, the crosshatch of the cone crisply textured and a fat scoop melting over the top. The face — big eyes, a snub snout, a sly little grin — is pure mischief. It is a treat for tabletop RPG tables (a whimsical NPC, familiar or shop mascot), for dragon collectors, and as a fun, characterful painting project. Print notes • Resin / SLA suits it best: it captures the scale texture, the waffle lattice and the melting scoop far more sharply than FDM. • Supports are needed under the chin, the cone and the overhanging tail; the flat round base gives a stable footprint. • Hollow the body and add a drain hole to save resin on that thick belly. • Prints happily at 32mm tabletop scale or larger as a display piece; prime, then glaze the ice-cream in soft pastels for contrast against the scales.
