Description

A faceted dragon caught mid-prowl, all sharp planes and firelit edges. This is a low-poly winged dragon built entirely from crisp geometric facets — the kind of angular, origami-adjacent sculpt that reads as modern art from across the room and as a fearsome beast up close. It crouches low on four clawed legs, membranous wings swept wide to either side, with a ragged crest of flame-like spikes running from the snout down the length of the spine. The jaws hang open on a row of blocky teeth and a long tail trails out behind for balance, giving the whole piece a sense of coiled, about-to-pounce tension. It suits fans of geometric and low-poly decor, tabletop gamers who want an oversized display centrepiece, and anyone after a bold desk or shelf statement that leans fantasy without tipping into fussy detail. The flat surfaces take paint and metallic washes especially well. Print notes • FDM loves this model — each flat facet catches layer light for a faceted, crystalline finish • Print at a shallow tilt with supports under the wings, jaw and belly, or split at the wing roots to cut down on support material • Resin gives razor edges at desk scale; a matte primer followed by a light drybrush really pops the geometry • Scale up for a floor or mantel piece — the low triangle count keeps slicing and print times manageable
