Coiled Dragon Relief Roundel

A winged dragon curls nose-to-tail into a ring, wings flung wide. A single beast is carved in layered relief: membranous bat wings sweep up and to the left with clear finger-bones and webbing, a ridged, spined back arches over raised clawed forelimbs, an angular horned head snarls at upper right, and a long barbed tail loops around the base to almost close the circle. Crisp undercut edges lift every scale and spine away from the flat ground, giving the roundel real depth for its size. It suits fantasy fans and makes a natural wall plaque, door roundel, chest- or box-lid inlay, or a centrepiece for a games room. Print / CNC notes: this is a single-sided relief, so carve it into a hardwood blank or 3D-print it flat with the detailed face upward, with no supports required either way. A ball-nose bit shapes the wing membranes and the body, while a fine V-bit picks out the scales, spines and claws. Frame it as a circular plaque, and a metallic bronze or gold coat knocked back with a dark wash will make the recesses read from across the room.
