Weathered Horned Beast Skull

The bleached skull of some horned beast, dug straight out of a fantasy bestiary. This is a rugged, weathered creature skull: a heavy snout packed with worn teeth, deep eye sockets, and a crown of horns rising from the brow and cheeks, all over a pitted, organic surface that looks long buried. Modelled with a scanned, stony texture rather than clean geometry, it comes across as convincingly ancient and a little monstrous, part dragon, part prehistoric predator. It's built as a display and gaming prop: a centrepiece for dark-fantasy dioramas, dungeon and cave terrain, a shrine or lair marker on the tabletop, or simply a gothic curio for a shelf or Halloween scene. Print notes • FDM handles it well because the rough surface hides layer lines; 0.16 to 0.2mm is plenty. • Print horn-tips-up or on the flat underside, with light supports under the horns and jaw overhang. • Resin will pull out the finest tooth and bone texture if you want a high-detail version. • Hollow larger prints and add a drain hole to save material. Prime, then paint with bone and ivory tones, a brown wash into the recesses and a dry-brush highlight to make the texture pop; add mossy green along the edges for a long-abandoned look. Scales cleanly from a dice-tray ornament up to a full terrain feature.
