Description

A lean, leathery imp caught in a crouching hover. This fantasy figure is a slender humanoid demon with a spiky horned head and pointed ears, broad membranous bat-wings spread wide, taloned fingers, and a long reptilian tail lined with a ridge of spines and finished in a heavy club-like knob. The pose is all forward motion — weight pitched ahead, one hand reaching, wings flared for balance — giving it real menace even at small scale. Ideal as a tabletop RPG or wargaming miniature, a gothic shelf piece, a diorama villain, or a painter's practice study in wings and sinew. Print notes • The outstretched wings are the challenge: print angled with tree/organic supports beneath the membranes, or split at the wing roots and glue for a cleaner face. • Resin (SLA) is the right call for the claws, horns and tail spines — a 0.03–0.05 mm layer height holds the fine edges. • Hollow the torso and add a vent hole if resin-printing, to save material and avoid a suction cup. • Base it after printing; a small scenic plinth steadies the forward-leaning stance.
