A hunched horror frozen mid-lunge, all knuckles, sinew and teeth. This creature crouches on all fours atop a round base, long forelimbs planted so its shoulders rise above a skull-like head. The face is the centrepiece: a bony, elongated muzzle split by outsized sabre fangs, hollow eye sockets, and flared bat-like ears that sweep back from the temples. Ropey muscle wraps the torso and limbs, the ribs and abdomen carved in taut ridges, and the hands end in long splayed claws. It has the loping, primate-meets-nightmare silhouette of a dungeon ambusher. It is built as a tabletop miniature — a monster or mini-boss for fantasy RPG encounters, horror skirmish games, or a display bust for painters who love grotesque anatomy. Print notes • Resin is the way to go here — 25 micron layers hold the fang tips, ear membranes and skin creases. • Print at a slight tilt with supports on the back, inner thighs and under the jaw to keep the face clean. • The claws and fangs are fine points; handle carefully off the plate and cure fully before priming. • Natural fit is 32 mm heroic scale; scale up for a chunky display piece. • A zenithal prime plus thinned washes will drag shadow into every muscle groove.
