Description

A hunched gargoyle demon caught mid-crouch, leathery wings flung wide. Despite the workshop-sounding code, this file is a fantasy creature sculpt — a lean, sinewy demon perched low on bent legs with talons splayed and one clawed hand rising, as though it has just dropped onto a ledge and spotted prey. The head is a horned, snarling skull with a jagged crest of spines sweeping back over the crown, and two vast membranous wings arc out behind it, their finger-bones and hooked tips clearly defined against the web of skin between them. Every surface is taut muscle and ropey tendon, which gives painters a lot to work with once it comes off the plate. It makes a natural centrepiece for a dark-fantasy or horror shelf, a boss encounter for a tabletop campaign, or a brooding gargoyle guardian tucked into a diorama or Halloween scene. Print notes: • Resin/SLA captures the teeth, claws and thin wing webbing best; FDM holds up well if you scale the whole thing up. • The outstretched wings and raised arm want supports — angle the model or split it at the wing roots to keep scarring off the visible faces. • If you resin-print, hollow the torso and add a drain hole to save material and avoid suction cups. • Works at 32mm for tabletop skirmishes or 150mm and up as a display statue. One to hand to the collector who already owns too many dragons and wants something meaner on the shelf.
