Description

A grey-bearded warrior planted like he is daring you to move him. Despite the CNC tags, this model is plainly a tabletop miniature: a stocky fighter standing square on a round slotted base, a heavy two-handed maul hefted in his right fist and a battered kite shield grounded at his left. The detailing is unmistakably RPG, with a segmented breastplate over chainmail sleeves, a broad belt clasped by a circular globe medallion, layered faulds at the hips and armoured boots. His long plaited beard and stern brow read as a grizzled veteran or warrior-priest rather than a fresh-faced sellsword. Scaled for 28-32mm skirmish play, he drops straight into a D&D party, a fantasy warband or a display shelf as a painted character piece. Print notes • Resin (SLA) gets the most from the beard, the chainmail links and the cracks worn into the shield; FDM at 0.12mm works if you accept softer texture. • Print at a slight back-tilt with supports under the raised hammer head, the shield's outer edge and beneath both forearms, as those are the overhangs that will sag. • The hammer-to-arm join is the weak point; if it snaps during cleanup, pin it back with a 0.5mm wire. • A 25mm round base suits him, cast on or added separately.
