Bearded Space-Veteran Trooper Miniature

A grizzled space-veteran, rifle shouldered and ready. Despite the workshop-sounding file name, this is a characterful sci-fi trooper miniature: a stocky, heavily-bearded soldier in segmented power armour, hair slicked back into a topknot, standing four-square on a round tabletop base. He cradles a chunky sci-fi carbine muzzle-up in one gloved hand while the other hangs open at his side, and the armour is loaded with detail, a layered chest plate, a broad utility belt studded with clasp boxes, ridged thigh and shin guards and heavy armoured boots. He's a natural fit for 28-32mm skirmish games, a squad of ex-military mercenaries or veterans, an RPG NPC, or simply a satisfying paint-up for the display shelf. Print notes: • Resin (MSLA) captures the beard strands, belt buckles and armour panel lines best; slice around 0.03 mm. • Print at a back-leaning tilt with supports on the rear and under the weapon, keeping tips clear of the face and beard. • The round base can be printed integral or swapped for your own lipped base if you're ranking him up in a unit. • Wash and cure, then prime; a warm zenithal light makes the sculpted armour edges and facial detail easy to catch with drybrushing.
