A bearded old sage frozen mid-om, legs folded and fingers pinched in a perfect zen mudra. Forget the product code, this sculpt is a meditating gnome, a Father-Christmas-ish figure in a long pointed cap, sitting cross-legged in full lotus. His eyes are softly closed, a great flowing beard cascades down over a rounded belly, and both hands rest on his knees with thumb and forefinger touching in the classic gyan mudra. The robe and beard are carved in deep, wavy folds that read beautifully whether painted or left bare. Print notes • FDM prints happily at 0.12-0.2 mm; the folds hide layer lines well, so it is forgiving for beginners. • Resin is the star here: the beard strands, closed eyelids and finger details come out crisp. • Print seated as modelled; expect supports under the outstretched forearms, the hat tip and the underside of the crossed legs. • The wide, flat seat gives a stable footprint, so no separate base is required.
