Description

A hulking clockwork golem, hunched low and waiting to be woken. This figure is a squat mechanical brute crouched over its own oversized fists — a boxy, rivet-studded shield of a chest plate, broad plated shoulders, and enormous blocky knuckled hands planted on the ground. The head is full of character: round goggle lenses, a bulbous nose, a swept crest up top, and a little chimney funnel rising from the crown like a steam stack. It reads as a steampunk automaton or earth-elemental construct, all heavy geometry and industrial charm, seated on a round base. Great for tabletop RPGs and skirmish games as a golem, guardian construct or steam-tank crewman, or as a display bust for anyone who loves dieselpunk and clockwork design. Print notes: • Resin (SLA/DLP) is the way to go here — the rivets, goggle rings and blocky knuckle facets come out crisp. • Print with a slight back tilt and supports under the arms, shoulders and chin overhangs; the base prints happily on its own. • FDM is workable at 32mm and up, but soften your expectations on the fine face detail — stick to 0.12mm layers. • Hollow the body for resin saving and add a vent hole under the base, then cure fully before priming. Prime with a zenithal grey-to-white, then drybrush bronze and iron across the plates and sink a rusty wash into the recesses for that well-worn workshop-golem look.
