Description

A grizzled tribesman holding his banner-pole steady. Though filed under the workshop label, this is plainly a tabletop miniature: a barrel-chested, bare-armed warrior with a long braided beard and a swept-back topknot, dressed in a sleeveless tunic, a single sculpted shoulder guard, a broad medallion-studded belt and baggy trousers cinched into wrapped boots. His near hand grips a tall ceremonial staff or standard pole, capped with a knobbed, banded finial, while the free hand hangs open at his side. The sculpt has real texture — cloth folds, beard strands and belt discs all read cleanly. It suits fantasy skirmish gamers and painters building barbarian, dwarf-kin or frontier warband forces, and it works equally well as a standalone character or unit standard bearer. Print notes: • Resin is ideal here for the beard, belt medallions and facial detail; print around 32mm heroic scale. • Support the outstretched staff, the open hand and under the belt sash overhang; orient tilted to keep supports off the face. • Consider printing the long pole separately to avoid a fragile, support-heavy span, then pin it into the gripping hand. • Prime grey, then glaze the skin and leathers before picking out the metal belt bosses.
