Description

A grizzled dwarf warrior, down on one knee with axe at the ready. This tabletop miniature is pure fantasy character work: a stout, broad-shouldered dwarf kneeling on his base, both hands wrapped around the haft of a long battle-axe planted head-down in front of him. He wears a wide, floppy brimmed hat pulled low, a magnificent forked beard spilling over layered plate-and-leather armour, a belted tunic, and a small kite shield strapped at his side — both the shield and the axe head bearing a woven saltire and knotwork emblem. The pose is that classic "guardian at rest" stance: weary but immovable, and the sculpt is packed with texture — beard strands, armour plates, buckles and a slotted blade. It slots straight into RPG and skirmish games as a hero, hearthguard or dwarf lord for your warband, and makes a characterful paint-up on the display shelf. Print notes: • Resin (MSLA) is strongly recommended; the beard detail, knotwork and face need the resolution that filament layer lines would blur. • Print off the pre-made round base and support the underside of the hat brim, the beard tip and the overhanging axe head; angle the mini around 30–45° to keep supports clear of the face. • 28–32mm heroic scale is the natural fit for most systems, but it scales up cleanly to a display bust if you want to show off that beard. • Wash and fully UV-cure before cleanup — the thin axe blade and shield edge are the fragile points.
