Cheerful Bearded Gnome With Staff

A jolly little gnome caught mid-stride, staff in hand and grin at the ready. Despite the workshop code on the listing, the model is a fully sculpted character: a stout bearded fellow in a tall floppy pointed cap, his enormous flowing beard tumbling down over a set of buttoned dungarees. One hand grips a knobbly walking stick while he leans jauntily forward, planted on comfortably oversized boots. Every strand of the beard and every crease of the overalls is modelled in relief, giving him loads of painterly texture. He makes a charming garden ornament, shelf companion or windowsill guardian, and at smaller scales he drops neatly into a fairy garden, terrarium or tabletop woodland scene. Print a whole troupe and line them along a path. Production notes: • Orient him upright and add supports beneath the hat brim, the beard overhang and the outstretched staff hand; a raft under the boots keeps him stable. • Resin captures the face and beard grooves best, but he prints well in PLA at fine layers for a garden-scale figure — hollow and add a drain hole if you size him large. • The rounded, chunky forms also lend themselves to rotary 4th-axis carving in a soft timber if you want a wooden statue version. • Prime, then dry-brush the beard and wash the recesses to make the detail pop.
