Description

A travelling bard mid-flourish, lyre in one hand, the other thrown up to the crowd. This is a full-round character figurine of a young minstrel: shoulder-length hair beneath a slim circlet, a laced tunic with a knot-work cord down the chest, a wide belt with a satchel slung on the hip, and tall boots cross-laced to the knee. The left hand cradles a curved lyre while the right arm is flung skyward, as if striking the final note of a tale. Knot-motif detailing on the bracer, buckle and collar gives it a Celtic, folk-fantasy flavour. It's built for the tabletop — a perfect bard for D&D and other RPGs, a display piece for a fantasy shelf, or a satisfying paint project. Keep it at 32mm for the game table, or scale it up as a bookshelf statuette. Print notes: • Resin captures the face, cording and lace best; orient it tilted back with supports under the raised arm, the lyre and the chin. • For FDM, print at 0.12mm and expect to support the outstretched arm and the gap between lyre and body. • The raised hand and thin lyre frame are the fragile points — thicken them slightly if printing small or handling it often. • Priming grey then dry-brushing brings out the knotwork and the folds of the tunic beautifully.
