Loop-Hat Gnome Hanging Ornament

A whiskery little gnome whose pointed hat curls right over into a hanging loop. This is a full-round gnome ornament, all beard and hat. A tall floppy cap sweeps up and coils into a closed ring at the very top, turning the whole figure into a ready-made hanger; below it, only a big rounded nose peeks out from a long, deeply combed beard that flares to the ground, where two stubby domed boots poke out. There is no visible face beyond the nose, so the charm lives in the silhouette, the flowing strands of the beard and that clever looped hat. It is made to dangle: a Christmas-tree bauble, a shelf-edge or door-handle charm, a bag tag or a small hanging gift. A row of them at different sizes looks great strung along a mantel. Cut notes • The looped hat is designed to print or carve in one piece with a built-in hole, so no separate ring or jump-ring is needed. • On FDM, stand it upright and print the beard strands at a 0.12-0.16mm layer height for clean grooves, adding a light support only under the loop's overhang. • In resin it comes out glassy-smooth and needs minimal support at the boots and loop. • Machined in wood as a pierced ornament, drill or leave the loop open and hand-sand the beard channels.
