Description

A roly-poly little gnome caught admiring his prize mushroom. This is a chunky, cartoon-style garden gnome or storybook dwarf, sculpted mid-pose with one hand raised to hold up a fat toadstool while the other hangs at his side. He is all rounded charm: a tall floppy pointed cap, sleepy half-closed eyes, a big bulbous nose, a long belted tunic split at the front, stubby legs and oversized turned-up boots. The surface is smooth and soft-edged, made for a friendly rather than fierce look. He is aimed at garden ornament makers, shelf and windowsill decorators, kids' rooms and collectors of characterful figurines. Print notes: • Resin brings out the face and finger detail; FDM at a fine layer height works well for larger sizes. • Print upright and support the raised arm, the mushroom, and the overhangs under the chin and boots. • For an outdoor garden version, scale him up, print in ASA or PETG, hollow the body with a drain hole, and seal the finished paint against weather. • Split at the waist if he stands taller than your build volume; the belt line hides the join neatly. Paint him in cheerful storybook colours — red cap, blue tunic, spotted mushroom — for a classic gnome, or leave him a single stone tone for a modern statue look.
