Sleeping Hearth Gnome Figurine

A drowsy hearth-gnome, folded up for a nap. This model is a rotund little gnome or hedge-wizard sitting cross-legged, wrapped in a heavy robe, under an enormous floppy cap that flops forward into a long curling point. His face is nearly hidden — a bulbous drooping nose, closed eyes and a mound of cheek peek out from under the brim, while his hands rest quietly clasped in his lap. Two upturned pointed boots splay out to either side, giving him a wonderfully relaxed, storybook silhouette. The sculpt keeps forms broad and simplified — chunky folds, soft planes — so it reads clearly even at small scale. He makes a charming desk companion, a shelf gnome, a garden-themed ornament, or a whimsical NPC for a tabletop village. He paints up a treat in classic gnome reds and earthy robe tones. Print notes • Prints cleanly in resin at roughly 40–70mm; the folded pose gives a stable flat base. • FDM users: orient upright and add light supports under the hat point and the boot tips, which overhang. • The gentle low-poly faceting is part of the charm — a fine layer height smooths it right out, or lean into the facets for a deliberately stylised look. • Cures and sands easily thanks to the simple, closed shapes with no deep undercuts.
