Faceted Crystal Band Ring

A ring cut like a chunk of raw crystal. Forget the tray-and-mandala tags — this render is a bold, wide-band ring. Its outer surface is a mosaic of flat angular facets, faceted all the way round like a rough-hewn gemstone or a low-poly boulder, while the inside is left as a smooth, comfortable cylinder. The contrast between the jagged, light-catching exterior and the clean bore is the whole appeal: it looks hand-knapped rather than machined. It makes a striking statement ring or a chunky cosplay/fantasy prop, and scaled up it doubles neatly as a faceted napkin ring or a small candle collar. Print notes • Best resolved on a resin printer at wearable scale — the crisp facet edges come out far sharper than on FDM. • Print it standing on the flat rim so the band's axis is vertical; this keeps every facet support-free and the inner surface clean. • Check your finger size against the model before slicing and scale uniformly if needed; even a small percentage change moves the fit noticeably. • If milling a larger version from stock instead, index it as a rotary/4th-axis job so the facets wrap evenly around the blank.
