Description

A chunky circular band ringed with rivet blocks and inked with tribal linework. The carving is a thick decorative ring, shown three-quarter on so you can read both the wide outer face and the rounded inner wall. Square stud blocks — each dimpled with four corner rivets — march evenly around the rim like bolted plates, and between them the band is engraved with sweeping Polynesian-style tribal lines that curl and taper across the surface. The effect lands somewhere between industrial hardware and carved wood totem: rugged, symmetrical, and satisfyingly tactile in the hand. At a smaller scale it works as a heavy napkin ring or a curtain / tieback ring; scaled up it becomes a candle collar or a decorative bangle. Cut a set of four or six for a matching table. Print / cut notes: • Rotary-axis CNC or a 4th-axis wrap is the cleanest route for the full band; without one, split the ring and machine it in two halves, then join at the studs where the seam hides. • The recessed tribal grooves want a fine V-bit (60 degrees) so the lines stay crisp and the taper reads. • For FDM/resin printing, stand the ring vertically or print it lying down with a raft; the rivet cubes are the only spots that may want a whisker of support. • Ease the inner and outer edges with a light sanding so it feels finished when handled.
