Description

A short, tough-looking collar ring pierced with a scatter of hexagonal vents — part bezel, part guard, wholly mechanical. Unlike the carved decorative pieces around it, this is a functional cylindrical part: a stout open-ended tube whose faceted wall is broken by hexagon-shaped cut-outs and slotted notches around the rim, giving it the look of a watch bezel, lens shroud or protective socket collar. The front lip is stepped and interrupted by regular tabs, suggesting it is meant to clip, twist or seat against a matching body. It suits makers building custom enclosures, camera or torch bezels, cosplay tech props and utility fittings where a rugged, vented ring reads better than a plain sleeve. The perforations also make it a clean test print for dialling in bridging and hole quality. Print notes • Stand it on the open end, axis vertical, so the cylinder walls print cleanly and the hex holes bridge as small self-supporting spans. • No supports are needed inside the bore; the tab slots at the rim print fine in mid-air at this scale. • Use 3–4 perimeters for a part meant to take a friction or twist fit — walls that thin still need to be stiff. • If it must mate with existing hardware, print a 10mm test slice first and fine-tune the diameter with your slicer's horizontal expansion. PETG or ABS will give it the durability a working collar wants; PLA is fine for a display or fit-check mock-up.
