Woven Infinity-Loop Ring Band

A single ribbon that loops back on itself, again and again. What you're looking at is a circular band woven from a run of interlocking loops — fat, rounded strands that cross over and under like a chain of figure-eights, every crossing leaving a smooth almond-shaped window in the wall. It rises from a slim flat foot ring, so the piece works equally well as a sculptural napkin ring, a tealight surround, or a little openwork trinket bowl for a shelf or hallway table. There isn't a hard edge anywhere; the whole surface is softly tubular and catches light in warm, rolling highlights. Print notes: • Sit it on the flat base ring — no raft needed, and the footprint keeps it stable through the whole print. • The loop crossings have gentle overhangs; a few light supports under the deepest arches keep them crisp, though many printers bridge them fine. • Warm wood-tone, bronze or pearl filament flatters the weave; a matte surface hides layer lines on the curved strands. • Slow the outer perimeters slightly so the rounded bands stay smooth and even where they twist.
