Clockwork Sunburst Ring Medallion

An industrial sun caught mid-rotation — part gear, part halo. This is an abstract ornamental medallion built around a hollow central ring, with tapered rectangular rays fanning out top and bottom like the teeth of a great cog, and short rounded pins studding the rim like rivet heads. To one side, a loose cluster of interlocking circles and open rings bubbles outward, deliberately breaking the symmetry and lending the whole piece a steampunk, almost clockwork character.
