Faceted Voronoi Openwork Band

A faceted band cut through with an organic web of branching struts. The render shows a short, ring-shaped band, its outer wall broken into flat polygonal facets like a rough-cut gemstone, while the whole surface is pierced by a flowing, vein-like lattice. The openings are irregular and organic, closer to cracked riverbeds or a voronoi web than to a repeating geometric grid, and warm lighting rakes across the thin ribs to show off their depth. There is no figurative motif and nothing that resembles a rotational symbol; it is pure abstract openwork. Depending on scale it reads as a chunky statement bangle, a napkin ring, a candle sleeve, or a small decorative vessel collar. It suits jewellery makers, modern-decor fans and anyone after a sculptural accent that plays with light and shadow through its cutouts. Those thin, spanning ribs are delicate, so print strategy is everything here. Print notes • Resin gives the crispest struts and smoothest facets; on FDM use a small nozzle (0.4mm or finer) and slow perimeter speeds so the thin bridges don't wobble. • Stand the band on one flat edge and it largely self-supports; the internal web may want light supports at the steepest overhangs, removed gently to avoid snapping ribs. • Scale carefully: too small and the ribs turn fragile, too large and it stops fitting as a bangle, so test-print a section first. • A metallic paint or cold-cast finish over the raw print sells the cast-metal jewellery look, with a dark wash sunk between the struts for contrast.
