Description

A little lidded pot ringed with portholes and rows of fine beading. The render shows a two-part round container with its lid floating off above the base. The base is a straight-walled cup wrapped in a decorative band: a run of drilled circular "portholes" framed top and bottom by neat rows of beading, with one larger eyelet marking the front. The lid is smooth and gently domed, with a stepped inner rim that drops down to nest snugly over the base. It is a proper little trinket vessel — think ring or jewellery pot, a dice or pill container, a keepsake box, or a tidy desk catch-all for paperclips and studs. Because it ships as two separate models, lid and base print (or turn) independently. On an FDM machine, stand the base upright and set the lid dome-up; neither needs supports. The one thing to check before you commit is the lid-to-base clearance — scale in your slicer to dial in a friction fit that is snug but not fused, adding a touch of tolerance if your printer runs tight. Those pierced portholes are begging for a trick: drop in a contrasting fabric liner, or set a flameless tealight inside so the light spills through the holes. A lathe turner can reproduce the beaded band with a fine detail bit.
