Studded Signet Statement Ring

A bold, blocky statement ring built more like a machined component than a delicate band. The design pairs a heavy, slightly domed shank with a broad rectangular signet face. Down the sides of the band run deep vertical grooves that read like fluting or gear teeth, giving the whole piece an industrial rhythm. The face itself is filled with a dense grid of small rounded studs — rows of little capsule shapes packed edge to edge — so it catches light as a textured plate rather than a smooth crown. It is unapologetically chunky and masculine. Think of it as a men's statement or biker-style ring, a cosplay prop, or a pattern master for casting. The generous wall thickness makes it forgiving to reproduce at size. Making notes • Ring is a full 3D solid; print it standing on the band with tree supports under the overhanging signet, or machine it on a rotary axis. • Resin at 25-50 micron gives the crispest studs and groove walls; sand the flats lightly afterward. • Check the internal diameter against a ring sizer and scale uniformly to hit your finger size before printing. • If casting, add a sprue to the underside of the shank and vent the studded face so detail fills fully. • A dark wash sunk into the grooves and wiped off the high studs makes the texture pop.
