Description

A ring that carries a blessing all the way around. Shown here as a matched pair — a wide band and a narrower one — each is cut with recessed Cyrillic lettering sitting in a smooth sunken panel that runs the full circumference. The visible text reads "СПАС…", the opening of the traditional Orthodox inscription "Спаси и сохрани" ("Save and protect"), with a small ringed roundel breaking the pattern between words. The letterforms are chunky and stylised, carved cleanly below the band surface so they catch light and shadow. This is a devotional keepsake rather than a costume prop — a christening, confirmation, or faith-gift piece — offered in two widths so it suits different fingers and a stacked look. Production notes: • On a resin printer, print each band standing vertically on the rim so the round profile stays true and no supports touch the engraved panel; a fine layer height keeps the lettering crisp. • The recessed text is a natural candidate for a paint or enamel fill — brush colour into the channels, then wipe the raised surface clean. • If you route or engrave this into metal or hardwood stock instead, the sunken panel gives your bit a clear boundary to work within; take a light finishing pass to sharpen the serifs. • Scale to the exact ring size before slicing and add a hair of clearance — printed and cast rings tend to run tight.
