Description

A weighty devotional signet crowned with the Crucifixion and the prayer to be kept safe. Modelled as a barrel-form men's ring, this piece carries a large domed round bezel bearing Christ crucified in crisp low relief. The figure is rendered in an Orthodox style, arms outstretched with a radiant halo behind the head and a short girded cloth at the waist, sitting proud of a subtly dished field so the whole scene reads clearly even at a glance. The broad shank tapers away from the face and is inscribed along one flank with raised Cyrillic lettering reading "СОХРАНИ" — "save" or "protect" — beside a plain raised cross, together forming the traditional "Save and Protect" invocation. It suits jewellers and makers producing faith-based keepsakes, baptism or name-day gifts, and heavier statement rings for personal devotion. The clean geometry also makes it a good candidate for lost-wax casting in silver or bronze. Print & finishing notes • The tiny crucifix relief demands a high-resolution resin printer; 25–35 micron layers keep the face and lettering legible. • Print with the bezel facing up on light supports around the shank to avoid scarring the flat inscription band. • For metal, print in castable resin and hand off to lost-wax casting, then polish the shank and lightly antique the recesses so the relief stands out. • If routing rather than casting, check your finest ball-nose against the letter widths before committing a blank. A reverent, detail-dense ring that reads as heirloom rather than novelty.
