Orthodox Crucifix Signet Ring

The figure is rendered in an Orthodox style, arms outstretched with a radiant halo behind the head and a short girded cloth at the waist, sitting proud of a subtly dished field so the whole scene reads clearly even at a glance. The broad shank tapers away from the face and is inscribed along one flank with raised Cyrillic lettering reading "СОХРАНИ" — "save" or "protect" — beside a plain raised cross, together forming the traditional "Save and Protect" invocation.
