Faceted Eight-Point Star Ornament

A crisp eight-pointed star that throws light off every bevelled face. Eight rays radiate from a raised central boss — four long primary points on the compass axes and four shorter ones between them — each ray split into faceted planes so the whole piece catches and scatters light like a cut gem or a mariner's compass rose. At the top sits a chunky round bail, moulded as one piece with the star and ready to take a cord, ribbon or jump ring. It's a versatile little hanger: a Christmas or Nativity 'star of wonder' bauble, a year-round pendant or keyring charm, a zip-pull, or one of a cluster of wall stars in mixed sizes. Print / cut notes: • The integral loop means no findings are needed — just thread it and hang. • Resin printing gives jewellery-grade crisp facet edges; FDM works too if you lay it flat, star-face up. • For a CNC take, machine it as a two-sided or 2.5D relief in hardwood, then sand the ridges sharp so the facets stay defined. • Finish in metallic paint, wax or leaf for a gilded, ornamental look.
