Geometric Cube-Cluster Statement Ring

A ring that wears architecture on your finger. The band itself is smooth and softly rounded, but its crown is anything but quiet: a dense cluster of interlocking cubes steps and folds into a blocky, maze-like knot, all right angles and deep square recesses. It has a voxel, almost pixel-built look — like a tiny labyrinth or a fragment of a puzzle box mounted where a gemstone would normally sit. This is a statement piece for lovers of geometric and architectural jewellery, and it's set up equally well for direct printing or as a master for lost-wax casting in silver or bronze. Print notes: • Resin is the way to go here — the crisp cube edges and internal square voids need resolution that FDM can't quite reach at this scale. • Orient the band vertically or tilt the ornament face-up, and support the undercuts beneath the projecting cubes. • Sizing: scale the whole ring uniformly to hit your target finger size before slicing, and test-print a band first. • For casting, keep walls thick enough to fill and add a discreet sprue point on the underside of the band. Wear it as a bold everyday piece or cast it as a one-off gift. The blocky knot catches shadow from every angle.
