Dimpled Golf-Ball Textured Band

A chunky band wrapped head to toe in golf-ball dimples. This is a simple cylindrical ring whose entire outer and inner surface is peppered with staggered oval indentations — exactly the pitted skin of a golf ball. The wall is thick and the edges softly bevelled, so it reads as solid rather than delicate, and the repeating dimples catch light in tidy rows all the way round. It's a versatile little form. Size it up and it's a napkin ring or curtain ring for a sporting household; keep it bold and it becomes a statement decorative ring, a pen-cup collar, or a golfer's desk curio. A metallic paint or a primer-and-buff makes it read like cast bronze, while matte white sells the golf-ball illusion outright. Print notes • Rotationally symmetric, so it prints upright with zero supports — the dimples self-support cleanly. • A 0.4 mm nozzle captures the texture; drop to 0.2 mm if you want every dimple sharply defined. • For a wearable ring, scale to your finger size first and print in a tough resin or PETG. • If you're CNC-turning it, a light finishing pass keeps the dimple rims from tearing on end grain.
