Pierced Trefoil Dome Ring

A chunky domed ring with a pierced trefoil blossom cut clean through its face. Print notes • For a wearable, resin printing gives the cleanest pierced edges; size the model to the finger before slicing, since rings don't forgive guesswork. • To cast in metal, print in castable resin and hollow nothing — the solid dome is part of the look and the heft. • The cut-out motif leaves thin bridges, so orient the ring on its side and support the overhanging top of the aperture to stop it sagging. • Sand the dome up through the grits (400 to 1000+) or tumble-polish it for that smooth, worn-pebble sheen.
