Celtic Spiral Scroll Bracket

A comma of carved timber wound with Celtic spirals — part bracket, part sculpture. This is a curved, paisley-shaped piece: a broad outer band hooks over at the top and tucks into a tight inner coil at the base, its face engraved end to end with triple-spiral (triskele) whorls. Nested inside the main sweep runs a second ribbon of smaller spirals, and several rounded pegs project out from the body — cross-bars that hint it is meant to hold or hang something rather than sit flush against a wall. It reads as an ornamental bracket, stand or hook with a strong Iron-Age, Insular flavour — the kind of accent that suits a folk-art nook, a mead-hall themed corner, or any maker who loves Celtic knotwork. Print notes • This is genuinely three-dimensional rather than a flat relief, so treat it as a rotary/4-axis carve or a resin/FDM 3D print, not a simple 2.5D routing job. • If milling, plan multi-side setups to reach the coiled underside and the projecting pegs, and index carefully between flips. • Printed, orient with the flat back down and support the horizontal pegs; a medium infill keeps those projecting bars sturdy in use. • The engraved spirals come alive with a wash of dark stain wiped back off the raised surfaces.
