Sunburst Teardrop Pendant

A teardrop that catches the light like a folding fan. This slim pendant is an elongated water-drop outline with a smooth rounded bail moulded straight into the top, ready to take a jump ring. Inside the lower belly, a spray of fine radiating slats fans out from a single point, leaving crisp open slots between each rib so the piece reads as light as it is graphic. The upper loop stays hollow and clean, balancing the busy sunburst below. It's designed for jewellery makers: print it as a statement pendant, scale it down for drop earrings, or use the pair as a repeatable charm for necklaces and keyrings. The airy cut-outs make it feel far lighter than a solid drop of the same size. Print notes • Resin (SLA/DLP) is the right call here; the thin radiating ribs and narrow gaps are too fine for reliable FDM at jewellery scale. • Print flat-face-down or at a shallow tilt so each slat is supported along its length and the slots stay open and clean. • Keep light supports off the front face; anchor them to the outer rim and the back. • Cast in silver or brass, or wear straight from a tough resin with a metallic finish; drill or model the bail to suit your chosen jump ring.
