Graduated Porthole Pebble Curio

A smooth, pebble-like dome with a row of graduated portholes. The model itself doesn't match its Celtic-lattice filing at all; what the render actually shows is a rounded, low-poly oval puck, wider than it is tall, with a long horizontal channel cut across the front face. Set into that recessed slot is a neat row of circular holes that shrink in diameter from left to right, like the finger-holes of a whistle or the mouth slots of a harmonica. The surfaces are clean and faceted, with no surface pattern or carving. Read at face value it looks like a stylised wind-instrument body, a fidget or desk curio, or a blank enclosure waiting for a speaker grille or LED strip behind those holes. Because the base is flat and the form simple, it is an easy, forgiving print. Print notes • Prints without drama in PLA or PETG at 0.2mm; the flat underside sits straight on the bed with no supports. • The small holes along the slot are the one thing to watch: print a test at your intended size, since very small circles can close up, and bump the hole diameter slightly if they fuse. • The low-poly facets are intentional here, so you don't need a fine layer height unless you plan to sand and prime it smooth. • If you want it as an enclosure, print at 2-3 perimeters so the shell is solid enough to drill or tap after printing.
