Fluted Corinthian Column Model

A classical Corinthian column, from fluted shaft to acanthus crown. Print notes • The fluted shaft prints cleanly upright with no supports; the capital's undercut leaves are the tricky part — resin or well-tuned tree supports handle them best. • For tall prints, split the shaft and add a peg or dowel channel so sections align and glue solidly. • Print the ornate capital separately, angled or face-up, to keep the acanthus detail sharp. • Prime and paint as marble, sandstone or aged bronze; a thin grey wash sinks into the flutes and leaf detail to add depth.
