Description

A jack-o'-lantern with attitude — all snarl and shadow. This is a full pumpkin sculpt, not a flat cutout: a plump, deeply ribbed gourd with a wonderfully twisted curling stem, and a menacing face carved right through the rind. Furrowed brows knit into a scowl, two wide round eyes glare out, and a jagged skull-mouth splits into a wicked grin with dripping fang-teeth and curling cheek flourishes. The cut-through openings are shaped for light to pour out, giving it real depth and a proper haunted-house glow. Made for Halloween: run it as a tealight or LED lantern on the porch, a mantel centrepiece, or a spooky table decoration that won't rot like the real thing and comes back out every October. You've got two good routes. As a 3D print, orient it stem-up and hollow the body, adding a base opening for a flickering LED puck; print the shell in orange PLA (or a translucent filament for a warmer diffusion) with the face walls thin enough to let light bleed through. Minimal supports are needed under the stem curl. As a CNC piece, carve it in the round on a 4-axis rig, or as a bold relief on a sign blank for a Halloween plaque or door hanger. Either way, keep the mouth and eye cuts crisp — they're what sell the scare. A light sand, then orange paint with a black wash sunk into the recesses, makes the evil grin leap out under a candle's flicker.
